Fishing on the river Blavet in Brittany
For those of you whose pleasure is
fishing, the banks of the Blavet and its tributaries offer a great
opportunity to while away the day in hope of a catch. The river is
relatively slow and we are told by our local neighbours that it contains a
variety of fish, carp, bream, roach, pike and zander. You can obtain a
licence locally in the Hotel de la Vallee, or the angling shop in Pontivy,
the proprietor has a good command of English and is always willing to give
advice. For those of you who enjoy carp fishing, there is a carp lake just
